Business Law

Tucker and Tighe's corporate and business clients include local, national and international concerns. The firm's experience includes negotiating and drafting complex purchase and sale agreements (both assets and equity), statutory mergers, joint ventures and partnerships. In addition, we offer our services to form and represent corporations, partnerships, joint ventures and limited liability companies, including preparation of shareholder and management agreements, marketing and licensing agreements, non-competition and confidentiality agreements and registration and protection of trademarks.

The firm represents individual and corporate plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal courts. Based on this firm’s business and corporate law clientele, most of the firm’s litigation practice involves business and related litigation, including collections, but the firm’s experience in litigation means it can offer services in a broad array of civil cases.

Property and Estate Law

For real estate, Tucker & Tighe offers legal services including developer representation (i.e., all types of project/land use planning, zoning and platting and documentation), acquisition, disposition, and structuring of real estate transactions, tax free exchanges, homeowners and condominium documentation, real estate brokerage representation, commercial leasing, and title insurance and closing services.

The firm's estate planning and probate practice includes the drafting of wills and trusts, estate tax planning, trust administration, and probate.

Most associations pay attorney's fees to pursue delinquent accounts, even for those that turn out to be uncollectible. This means the Association's money is going the wrong way - flowing out instead of flowing in.

Tucker & Tighe, P.A. offers the cost effective solution, with our No Collection/No Fee Policy. What this means is we never bill our association clients for collection work unless we get the delinquent owner to pay, or foreclosed property is sold or rented.

This is beneficial to associations because:

First, you will know you are not paying attorney's fees to pursue an uncollectible debt - we bear that risk.
Second, you will know that we will do our best to collect, so that we get paid.

Tucker & Tighe, P.A. represents numerous associations and has developed the No Collection/No Fee Policy based on:

Computerization and procedures established to increase efficiency; and
Our experience in doing association collection work. The only expense our associations bear is court costs, such as filing fees and service fees, when an association authorizes a lien foreclosure.

We welcome your inquiries about our representation of your association. Please call Tom Tighe or Michelle Montekio.

Practice of Reasonable Charges

We agree that we are only worth our client's patronage if our charges are reasonable and competitive with the legal marketplace. Our billing practices are specifically designed to give our clients full information on any charges. Also, we will always strive to evaluate and suggest alternative solutions to legal problems, so that our clients will have the option of the least costly solution.
